Position

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will work on collecting and storing huge sets of data as well as write the necessary transformation jobs and BI tool metrics to serve the data to our internal users.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

·       Developing and designing our data collection pipeline and our large-scale analytics platform

·       Monitoring and maintaining production streaming and batch applications

·       Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes

·       Building and deploying data warehouses on GCP using technologies Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

·       Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Mathematics, or related Information Technologies

·       Experience in building micro-services using NodeJS

·       Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies, data modeling and tradeoffs

·       Experience with columnar, row-based, and distributed databases

·       Hands-on experience in SQL

·       Strong understanding of ETL/ELT data pipelines and data modeling

·       Experience in data ingestion from a variety of sources like DBs, APIs, streaming data

GOOD TO HAVE

·       Experience in relevant Google Cloud Products (Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery)

·       Experience with BI tools
